Terms & Conditions

By accepting our estimate and placing an order with Floor24 Carpets and Flooring Ltd, you accept these terms apply to the contract between us.


On placing an order, payment in full of the estimate price must be paid before we can order any materials or commit to a delivery and fitting date. Should you delay payment this will necessarily delay delivery and fitting. We accept no liability for delay or losses arising. We operate a no refunds policy (save for refunds due under law) as we have to purchase materials on your behalf. When booking a fitting please note that we will require a £50 non-refundable deposit which will be deducted from your final invoice for fitting services.


Our quotes are based on the information provided to us by you and we accept no liability for issues arising from errors in the information provided by you. We therefore strongly recommend that you allow us to visit and take our own measurements to avoid these errors.


Equally, if we give you advice on appropriate flooring and you choose to proceed notwithstanding any such advice, we accept no liability for problems arising. Please note that as wood is a natural product it is subject to naturally occurring variations and we cannot accept liability for any natural flaws.


Whilst our fitters are careful to identify any hazards such as telephone/alarm cables, water pipes and so on, it is your responsibility to make our fitters aware of any such hazards and we cannot accept liability for any damage (or losses arising) caused where our fitters are not previously advised of these and you should notify us of any hazards when placing your order and this will be noted on our invoice.


For the avoidance of doubt, unless expressly stated, any estimates do not include the following which will be at additional cost:


  • Easing of doors (£25 per door)
  • Moving of furniture (£40 per room)
  • Removal and replacement of kitchen appliances (£25 per appliance)
  • Uplifting and disposal of existing floor coverings
  • Disposal of trimmings and waste from floor coverings we fit
  • Removal and replacement of skirting boards
  • Repairs required to the subfloor
  • Underlay, grippers and all other sundries


In respect of laminate and wood flooring, our estimates are based on scotia being the most economical way to cover expansion gap and should you require alternative provision this will be at additional cost. Laminate in bathrooms/toilets will be cut and sealed around the toilet base to allow room to expand and contract. If you require the removal and replacement of the toilet unit, this will be subject to a further estimate.


Estimated delivery and/or fitting dates are given in good faith and are not guaranteed. Whilst we will try to deliver and fit flooring on any agreed dates, sometimes matters beyond our control will impact on our ability to do this, such as (but not limited to) availability of stock from our suppliers, availability of fitters and date of your payment clearing in our bank account. We are unable to accept any liability for these delays and any losses that may arise. In addition to this, we are unable to confirm an installation time. As such, your appointment is an all day appointment and we could arrive anytime from 8am until 5pm on your allocated day. If you need to change your fitting date once booked you must give us not less than 4 days’ notice failing which a fee of £180 per day allocated will be charged unless we are able to allocate your appointment to another customer.


Please check that the flooring that you receive is correct and examine them for apparent faults or damage at the time of delivery and before fitting. Any defects should be notified to us immediately. If you have underfloor heating please ensure this is turned off at least 48 hours before fitting. Our fitters will be unable to fit flooring if this is not done and you will be liable for a wasted fitting fee (£180 per day allocated) and we will not be liable for any losses or delays which may arise.


Fitting costs (save for the £50 deposit which is payable on booking your fitting appointment) are payable in cash directly to the fitters on the day of completion of the job. Should any additional costs be incurred (after agreement with you) and invoiced, invoices must be paid within 7 days. Should fitting costs or additional invoices not be paid as set out above, we reserve the right to charge interest at 8% and to recover any legal costs we incur in recovering these debts. Fitting is guaranteed for one year after installation.


In order to perform our contract with you we will need to collect personal information from you including your name, address and other contact details, and credit or debit card details. We will only use your personal information for the purposes of performing our contract with you and you consent for us to use your information in this way. As we use self-employed fitters we will necessarily need to share some of your information with them so that they can carry out the fittings and you agree to this sharing of information.

Floor24 Carpets & Flooring Ltd  is an introducer appointed representative of Ideal Sales Solutions Ltd T/A Ideal4Finance.  Ideal Sales Solutions is a credit broker and not a lender FRN 703401.

Finance available subject to status.  Loans of 25000 and above available on a secured basis.
